Question 1

What are your hours?

Visiting

Answer

Hours vary by store. Adrian is open Monday to Thursday 9AM to 8:45PM, Friday to Sunday 8AM to 8:45PM. Grand Rapids, Traverse City and Kalkaska are open every day, 9AM to 9PM. Online orders are held until the end of the business day, so you can order on your store's live menu and pick up any time before close. Happy Hour runs on its own window at each store that offers it.

Question 2

Do I need to be 21 to shop?

VisitingLegal

Answer

Yes. Every Olswell store sells adult-use cannabis to adults 21 and older only, and we check a valid government-issued photo ID at the door for every customer, every visit. Without a valid ID showing you are 21 or older, we cannot sell to you, even if you placed an order online.

Question 3

What ID do I need to bring?

VisitingLegal

Answer

Bring a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID: a driver’s license, state ID or passport from any U.S. state. The ID has to show that you are 21 or older. No ID, no entry: we card everyone, every time, with no exceptions, including when you are picking up an online order.

Question 4

How do I get the first-time discount?

Deals

Answer

First-time customers get 25% off your first visit at any Olswell store. Walk in with a valid 21+ ID and tell the budtender it is your first visit. There is no code to enter and no email sign-up: just ask for it when you check out at the counter, and the budtender applies it to that first visit.

Question 5

What is Happy Hour?

Deals

Answer

Happy Hour is 20% off across the whole shop at Adrian, Traverse City and Kalkaska, with no code and no membership. Each store sets its own window: Adrian Friday 8AM-2PM and Sunday 8AM-12PM; Traverse City Monday 5-9 PM and Thursday 9AM-1PM; Kalkaska Monday 5-9 PM and Thursday 9AM-1PM. Grand Rapids does not run Happy Hour.

Question 6

What payment do you take?

VisitingDeals

Answer

Olswell is cash only, and there is an ATM on-site at every store if you need to get cash before you check out. Cannabis stores cannot take credit cards because of federal banking rules, so plan on cash for in-store purchases and for online orders you pick up.

Question 7

Can I order online and pick up in store?

VisitingProducts

Answer

Yes. Choose your store, order on its live Dutchie menu, then pick up in person and pay cash at the counter. Orders held until end of business day. Bring a valid 21+ ID. The menu shows what is on that store's shelf right now, so you know before the drive.

Question 8

Do you grow your own cannabis?

Products

Answer

We do. Our house brands, RKIVE Reserve, Play and The Limit, are grown and processed in-house at our Adrian lab, and RKIVE Reserve hash rosin is made without chemical solvents. Each store also carries guest brands, and stock rotates by store, so check the live menu for what is in today.

Question 9

What kind of products do you carry?

Products

Answer

Flower, pre-rolls, vapes, concentrates, edibles and solventless hash rosin, from our three house brands plus a rotating bench of guest brands. Grand Rapids also runs deli-style flower: pick your weight and watch it get jarred. Each store’s live menu lists exactly what is in stock that day.

Question 10

Can out-of-state visitors buy here?

LegalVisiting

Answer

Yes. Adults 21 and older from any state can buy at any Olswell with a valid government-issued photo ID, paying cash with an ATM on-site. One rule: cannabis bought in Michigan has to stay in Michigan. Taking it across a state line is a federal offense, so plan to enjoy it here.

Question 11

What are Michigan’s purchase limits?

LegalProducts

Answer

Michigan limits each adult-use transaction to 2.5 ounces of cannabis flower, and no more than 15 grams of that can be concentrate. The limit applies per transaction, and our staff keeps every order within it at checkout. For the rule text, see the Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency.
