Why the same strain name can feel different

A strain name is a family tree, not a lab result. Growing conditions, harvest timing, curing, and storage all change what ends up in the jar, and batches from the same grower vary too. A "Sour Diesel" with one THC percentage and terpene profile can feel different from another with different numbers.

2. Look at the terpene profile and THC percentage on the label, not just the name.
3. Start with a modest THC level to learn how you respond.
4. Write down what you tried and how it felt. Patterns show up quickly.
5. Ask the budtender what other people with similar tastes have liked.

Buy small amounts of a few strains instead of a lot of one. You find your favorites faster, and you do not get stuck with a jar you do not love.
