What happens at the Adrian lab

RKIVE Reserve is processed in-house at Olswell's Adrian lab from Olswell-grown cannabis. The hash rosin is solventless: the resin is separated from the plant with ice water and mechanical separation, and no chemical solvents are used. Hash rosin is made by pressing that collected resin with heat and pressure.

What is solventless?

Solventless means no chemical solvent is used to pull the cannabinoids and terpenes out of the plant. Solvent-based concentrates use one, such as butane. Solventless methods use water, ice and mechanical separation, plus heat and pressure for rosin. It is the simpler answer if you want to know exactly how your concentrate was made.

Traceability

Michigan tracks licensed cannabis from plant to sale in a state seed-to-sale system called Metrc. Packages sold at licensed stores carry label information, including a batch number. Ask the team what is printed on the package you are looking at.

Testing

Michigan requires products sold at licensed stores to be tested by state-licensed safety compliance labs, including for potency and contaminants. The state's testing rules are set by the Cannabis Regulatory Agency.
