Gummies in Kalkaska

Start With a Small Dose

Begin with 5 mg of THC or less, then wait at least two hours before deciding on more. Gummies are digested first, so onset is commonly 30 to 90 minutes, and the effects can last four to eight hours or longer at higher doses. First-timers often feel nothing until the 60 to 90 minute mark, which is when the second gummy usually gets eaten by mistake.

What is the difference between THC per piece and THC per package?

Per piece is the dose you take. Per package is the total across everything in the bag. A large package total may be many pieces with a small dose each, so divide before you decide. When in doubt, start with a measured 2.5 to 5 mg of THC, even if that means cutting a piece, and wait two hours before taking more.

THC, CBD or Balanced

Check the label for THC and CBD before you buy. THC gummies are psychoactive. CBD gummies are made to be non-intoxicating, with little or no THC. Balanced gummies carry both, with the amount of each on the package. The Kalkaska team can help you match a label to what you are after.

Storing Gummies Up North

Cabins, trucks and boat bags are hard on gummies. Heat softens them, cold hardens them, and both change how they sit in the package. Keep them in a cool, dark, airtight container away from direct sun, and put them where children and pets cannot reach them, because they look like candy. Check the date on the package too.

Play and Other Makers

Play is Olswell's everyday brand, grown and processed by Olswell in Michigan. It makes gummies, infused pre-rolls, rosin carts and concentrates, and every Olswell store carries it. Other makers share the edibles shelf, and flavors and strengths change with stock, so the live menu is the place to see the lineup.
