Topicals in Kalkaska

What to Check on a Topical Label

Topicals are lotions, creams, balms, patches and bath products made for the skin instead of the mouth or lungs. The label does most of the work, so check:

• THC and CBD content. Many topicals contain little or no THC, but products differ.
• Directions. How much to use and how often depends on the product, and the package says.
• Ingredients. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, read the full list.
• Format. A patch is not a balm. Some patches are designed to carry cannabinoids into the bloodstream, which can be intoxicating.

If the label leaves a question open, the Kalkaska team can talk it through at the counter.

Patch Test First

Put a small amount on a small area of clean, dry skin before you use more, especially with a new product. Keep topicals away from eyes and broken skin, wash your hands afterward, and close the container tightly. Store it somewhere cool and out of reach of children and pets, which matters in a cabin where everything lives in one drawer.

Availability

Which topicals are on the shelf, from which brands and in which formulas, changes with inventory. The live Kalkaska menu is the place to check, and you can call (231) 518-5004 before a long drive. If you want to read up first, the cannabis topicals guide covers the category.
