How The Limit Works

The Limit is Olswell's value brand: ounce deals, bulk flower and limited drops that are gone when they sell out. It is grown and processed by Olswell in Michigan. If a limited drop catches your eye, buy it that day, because the point of a drop is that it does not wait for next week. Local or Visiting?

If you live in the Traverse City area, an ounce is a sensible buy: fewer trips to the counter and one plan for the next few weeks. If you are visiting, an ounce is usually more than a trip needs, and cannabis cannot cross state lines. Whatever you buy stays in Michigan, including at the airport.

Michigan Limits for Buying an Ounce

Adults 21 and older can buy up to 2.5 ounces per transaction, and no more than 15 grams of that total can be concentrate. You can carry up to 2.5 ounces in public and keep up to 10 ounces at home. Adult-use purchases carry a 10% excise tax plus 6% sales tax. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID that shows you are 21 or older. Consumption stays out of public places, so a beach, trail or park is never the answer, and never drive impaired.

Ounce Deals FAQ

What is the most flower I can buy at once?

Up to 2.5 ounces per transaction for adults 21 and older.

How do I see today's ounce pricing?

Open the live Traverse City flower menu, which carries current strains and prices. Prices change, so a number printed on a page like this one would not stay accurate.

Can I pay by card for a bulk purchase?

No. Olswell is cash only, with an ATM on-site.

Can I order an ounce ahead?

Yes. Choose on the live menu, then pay cash and show ID at the Front Street store. Orders are held until the end of the business day, and Olswell does not deliver.

21+ only. Valid ID required. Michigan purchase limits apply. Please consume responsibly.
