What "Live" and "Solventless" Mean

Live means the plant was frozen fresh instead of dried and cured first, which helps hold on to the aroma compounds called terpenes. Solventless means no chemical solvents touched it. What is the difference between live rosin and live resin?

Both can start from fresh-frozen plant material. Live rosin is solventless: ice water and mechanical separation, then heat and pressure, with no chemical solvents. Live resin is made with a solvent that is purged afterward. Rosin is the one to look for when flavor and a solventless process matter most. Check the label for THC either way.

Using Rosin

Rosin is most often dabbed with a rig, an e-nail or a concentrate vaporizer, though some people add a little to a joint or bowl.
